Overview & Objective

Gives micro food processing units a 35% capital subsidy up to ₹10 lakh, plus training, seed capital for SHGs and incubation support.

Key Benefits & Funding

  • Individual Units are provided with credit linked capital subsidy at 35% of the project cost with the maximum ceiling of ₹10 lakh per unit.
  • FPOs and Producer Cooperatives are provided with 35% grant with credit linkage.
  • SHGs are provided with seed capital of ₹40,000 per member for working capital and purchase of small tools.
  • Support through incubation centres.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Existing individual microentrepreneurs/micro units/ SHGs/ FPOs/ Individuals.
