100% central assistance for extension, R&D and innovation in livestock, plus startup incentives and a Grand Challenge programme.

Key Benefits & Funding

• The Central Government will provide 100% assistance for conducting Extension, R&D and Innovation activities, based on the need and scope of the proposal shared by the applicant. The startups will also be incentivized for problem solving in the sheep, goat, poultry, pig, feed and fodder. The Department will conduct a Startup Grand Challenge Programme.

Eligibility Criteria

• Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Institutes, Central Institutes, State Government University farms and other credible institutions and startups

How to Apply

The Central Agencies/ University farms will submit the proposal to the NLM division of the Department through their parent organization/ State Animal Husbandry Department.
